@KuzoIV & @Alchimist, you guys really did a great job. You took the BlindBox NFTs, and by just using your imagination and creativity skills you have turned it into something pretty cool if you ask me. You took some numbers and turned them all the way into a story, characters, graphics.
DAOverse proposal has more than 200 replies which have also raised points in regards to the Governance system that they are important to keep building the DAO.
Of course, I voted yes and many people encouraged each other to do the same. Then, we see the word âRejectedâ. As Andreas (BlueStitch), whenever I see such a word âRejection/edâ, I take it as a learning experience. The learning experience is super important. It is the way to avoid failure and improve in order to keep moving forward. I am sure you guys can achieve great things.
I think this ârejectedâ proposal has different meaning for everybody.
We as DAOverse founders are a bit sad since our plan to get going with the game development now will delay about some months (which really sucks in a market where speed is more than relevant) and our home community didnât want our idea.
Our bills are piling up (almost 25k$ for me alone, i dont know what shady exactly put in for his licenses etc) and the 10k for the Proposal definetely hurt in the plan, since we want to start marketing right away with the onboarding of our Marketing Officer next week. But we keep going, since all plans are planned with a failure propability it doesnât really change a thing, only delay.
as FX investor and believer of decentralization the decision of not voting was a heavy hit in the face and i would be furious and sell all my coins hitting the market sell button in the next second, if i wasnât that kind of early investor guy who believes in the idea behind it.
Still i personally, as investor (not daoverse founder) find it absolutely DISRESPECTFUL to all DAO members that the wallets did not vote. This is a heavy hitting double standard that canât be tolerated. Every Voter feels betrayed and disrepected, their votes doesnt mean anything.
If this is not solved soon this can kill the community culture. This has to be the ONE and ONLY fail that will occur in this voting mechanism.
And from legal perspective (as i know some things there too as regulated investment broker and former regulatory affairs in medtech) i personally think this can be problematic, correct me if i am wrong @DavidK but i think the proven non voting and therefore inhibition of the quorum while still pushing everyone to vote and let it look like its possible to win the proposal, with the problematic of charging a heavy fee could be found guilty as fraud or deception and be judged at court. I am not saying that i want to sue the company now, but if there was another person thinking otherwise this could be ugly at court and with the regulatory following.

Yes, our proposal failed to reach quorum for some reasons and actually I see these as strong points we should have in Future. Thatâs why we focus now of going with fund raise via collection.
The idea behind rejection wouldnât be clear if Zac didnât express it last night. It were very long night I slept like on 8 morning hahaha.
But he made a great statement with his tweet at morning after the meetup which indicate his stance actions afterward rejection.
So as you said everything taken as learning curve and i am someone who believe everything has its own time to happen for good even if you plan for everything.

Iâm no longer voting on proposals, the process is rigged, and only costs me money. Iâm also no longer spreading the call to vote, I donât want to be implicated in potential lawsuits/ criminal investigations because I tried to get people to vote in community channels and social media.
I feel abused and misled on the ââdefiââ aspect of this system

Focus 1 (NFT collection)
in next 2 weeks:
we wont stop building this
today we had a meeting starting the Full NFT focus together with the Writers and are currently talking to people to join us as video/photoshop/animation specialist to assist the creation of the NFT Series. (either be launched in Batches every 6 weeks or full release in around July)
we add our CMO Marcel to the core team (joins next week and is influencer marketing manager at RAZER)
we start our marketing and community building with marcel in leading role.
we try to get the Blindboxes for pre-minting ready on another low fee Chain than eth if not multichain
next 2 months:
we create a contract for the Character NFTs (multichain for TBD chains. eg. fx+polygon+bsc if possible) to have the possibility to get the funds by pre-release minting for the marketing and trademarks etc. , we have been offered technical support for the contracts and blochcain related tech by the FX foundation free of charge. Thank you for that.
we get into a SEED investor round to get a minimum of 100k to cover expenses that already occured or will be needed in the next 2 months to get the marketing, licensing, trademarking and company going.
in around 6 months:
we will release the NFTs main sale and airdrop them to the blindbox owners as soon as the Collection is ready and if the marketing concept sees it as beneficial. (maybe drops to pre-minters are some days before the main sale)
Focus 2 (blockchain development)
as soon as the marketing and community building are showing success we will have a community and know about the demands, this will allow us to create the specs of the blockchain coin we need for the metaverse and will choose a blockchain we are building on. (might be multichain, might be fx core based, might be another chain)

Focus 3 (game development)
since we dont have access to the funds of the EGF we need to postpone the start of the game development to around July/August (yeah this sucks but we cant do anything about that right now)
in the time being we are searching for persons to fulfill the demands and matching Vision of a CTO and Game development Lead and introduce to the core team.
once the sales are successful we can actually start with the game development and enlarge our team. It will be tried to use FX at least as supported multichain if not as base blockchain.
